ADULT BASIC EDUCATION CENTRE

Many adults would like to feel more confident about reading, writing, spelling and maths. People find it hard to fill in forms, write notes or take telephone messages. Others would like to be able to read a novel, the newspaper or a magazine and not find it such hard work. Part-time courses designed to help adults improve their reading, writing, spelling and maths are available one, two, three mornings/evenings a week. One to one tuition (individual tuition for each student) or tuition in small groups is available. Tuitition is arranged to suit individual needs and times and daytime or evening tuition is available.

English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)

TUTOR TRAINING COURSE IN ADULT LITERACY

To provide this service, we rely on volunteer tutors. Tutor training is provided as required.
