Advertising & Graphic Design

This one year course is ideally suited to the student who has a creative flair and is interested in pursuing a career in Graphic Design or Advertising. It combines essential drawing skills with the use of modern multimedia applications such as Desk Top Publishing, Computer Graphics and the Internet. Additionally, it provides a good knowledge of the business environment in which advertising operates. Students supplement their studies one day a week with work experience in advertising agencies or other related areas.

Minimum Entry Requirements:

Leaving Certificate/Leaving Certificate Applied or equivalent standards of education. A proven ability in Art would be an advantage & students should have an interest in art & design. Exemptions may be granted to mature students. All entry is subject to interview.
