Business Management & Marketing

This course is designed to provide the knowledge & personal skills required for a career in business. The course combines the theoretical business & practical computing skills needed to function at a high level in today's increasingly complex & challenging market places. Through our Work Experience Programme, students will have the opportunity to further develop their skills in the business area.

Awarding Body:

BTEC Level 4 Higher National Diploma in Business (Marketing)
Further Education & Training Awards Council (FETAC) - Level 5 & 6 modules

All FETAC awards are in the process of being redeveloped. At present, all information on this website is accurate but slight changes may be made to some awards to reflect these developments in the year of entry.

Career Opportunities:

Students who successfully complete this course will be prepared for immediate entry into the employment market in a variety of business roles within companies. Students may also have the option of continuing their studies in Year 3 - Bachelor of Business (Ordinary Degree) in Marketing or Year 3 of the Bachelor of Business (Ordinary Degree) in IT, Tallaght.

Minimum Entry Requirements:

5 Passes in the Leaving Certificate to include one subject passed at Higher Level or a Distinction in the Leaving Certificate Applied or FETAC Business Studies Award or equivalent standards of education. Exemptions may be granted to mature students. All entry is subject to interview.
