This Course prepares students for a rewarding career in Technical Support & Network Installation. The core aim of the course is to impart the expertise necessary to install & maintain standalone & networked computer systems. Students supplement their studies with work experience in a relevant area.

Successful graduates of the course can enter the employment market in the areas of IT support & network installation. DIT's & IT's offer a number of reserved places in Computing, Electronics or Engineering for holders of the FETAC Award. Students can also progress to the Computer Networks & Software Systems course in the College & can achieve the CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA) - Semesters 3 & 4 as well as the FETAC Award.
