Multimedia and Web Development
This 2nd year Course concentrates on providing students with the range of skills necessary for a career in Multimedia & Web Development. This programme is designed to give students a practical understanding of current and future multimedia developments, applications and technology. It is geared towards digital video/sound, web technology and multimedia content generation and transmission. Successful students will gain a qualification which will validate the range of skills necessary for a career in the following rapidly expanding areas: Multimedia CD/DVD Design & Production, Website Design Development, Interface Design, Graphic Design, Advertising and e-Learning. Students will undertake work experience in order to further develop their skills in this area.
