The aim is to provide a quality, locally based, accessible Adult Education Guidance service to participants of Adult Basic Education, Adult & Community Education Programmes, Adults attendingEvening Courses in Crumlin College of Further Education and Adults considering returning to education. The service is free of charge, informal & totally confidential. The following is a basic list of the types of topics/concerns/issues that we would be able to address according to the needs of each individual student: Information: Course/location, levels of entry, entry requirements, costs & fees, grants/allowances (eligibility). Advice: Course progression routes, C.V. preparation, interview skills, exam preparation, qualifications/certification, time management. Guidance: Education progression routes, personal development plans, interest inventories. Support: Listening, information counselling, personal barriers, feedback. A confidential one-to-one session can be arranged in Crumlin College of Further Education by appointment.
