Part-time Day Courses
Crumlin College of Further Education continues to review, change and innovate in relation to the development of Courses that meet the demands of students – whether they are school leavers, working in industry or mature students who wish to develop their skills. These courses will help to facilitate learning within the community and to allow people in industry to combine their career with further study on a part-time basis. The following Part-time Day Courses are being offered :

 

Floristry (FETAC) – Fee: €400 (Code: DF)
Monday: 9.15am – 1.15pm
Duration: 20 Weeks

This part-time course will include the following:
• Introduction to Floristry Skills
• Funeral Flowers
• Occasion Flowers
• Wedding Design
FETAC exam fee €10 and €10 per week for supplies.


Practical allotment Growing
Fee: €150 (Code: PAG)
Saturday: 9.15am – 12.15pm
Duration: 10 Weeks
This part-time course will include the following:
• Renting your allotment
• Fertilising
• Composting
• Planting
• Harvesting
• Equipment


Gardening (FETAC) – Fee: €460 (Code: DG)
Tuesday: 14.15pm – 17.15pm
Duration: 20 Weeks

This part-time course will include the following:
• Plant Recognition
• Pests & Pest Control
• Plant Propagation
FETAC exam fee €10

Enrolments take place from week commencing Monday 6 September.

Office Hours:
6.45-8.45pm, Mon-Thurs ONLY.

Classes will commence week beginning 27 September.


Formation of Classes
The formation of classes depends on the demand. Crumlin College reserves the right under unavoidable circumstances to alter the time or day of a course & to substitute any teacher or instructor where necessary.
